The law firm GT Legal in cooperation with the
advisory group Grant Thornton represented Dopravní podnik Ostrava a.s. in the
organization of the tender for the buyer of its 100% stake in EKOVA ELECTRIC
a.s. and the subsequent sale of this stake to ŠKODA TRANSPORTATION a.s., which
will continue the strategic development of EKOVA ELECTRIC a.s. Our legal
services included comprehensive legal advice from the beginning of the
transaction, including the preparation of legal due diligence of EKOVA ELECTRIC
a.s., the legal advice provided in relation to the tender process, the
preparation of transaction documentation and support in the negotiation thereof.
